Darrell L. Kuck

He was born February 3, 1941, in Shelby County, Ohio, the son of Florenz and Hattie (Schneider) Kuck.
He was baptized and confirmed at First Church of New Knoxville, and on July 18, 1964, he married Mary Hoelscher. She survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Judith (Jeffrey) Zwiebel; Jeffrey (Kristina Meyer) Kuck; Jason Kuck.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Jacob (Sandra Springer) Zwiebel; Kristyn (Jason Hoffman) Zwiebel; Jonathan (Alyssa) Zwiebel; Justin (Tasha) Slaven; Jeremy Kuck; Kylie Kuck.
He is survived by two great-grandchildren: Alexis and Braxton, and two more great grandchildren are due in April, 2020. He is survived by one brother, Lloyd (Annette) Kuck; a brother-in-law, Charles Vornholt; sisters-in-law Carol Kuck and Janet Kuck.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings: Homer Kuck; Wilhemina Schrolucke; John Kuck; Norma Henschen; Edna Vornholt; Ralph Kuck; Allen Kuck; and by an infant sister.
Darrell was a 1959 graduate of New Knoxville High School.
In his early years, Darrell, along with his brother Homer, installed TV towers and sold TV towers, washers and dryers. In 1963 he enlisted in the US Army Reserves, and served until 1967. He earned his real estate license and worked for his brother’s agency, Red Kuck Realty. He eventually formed his own agency, Great Western Realty. Along with selling real estate, Darrell followed his passion: guns. He was the owner of D.K. Sales, the Gun Shop in New Knoxville for 30 years.
He was a lifelong member of the First Church of New Knoxville.
