Bernard McCullough Jr.

Bernard C. “Barney” McCullough, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Shinbone, Auglaize County, the son of Olga (Schroer) and Bernard McCullough Sr., who preceded him in death. On Oct. 7, 1944, he married Margaret A. Carlone, and she died Nov. 28, 2009.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Chuck) Maurer, of Seattle; a grandson, Christopher Maurer, of Seattle; and a brother, William J. (Joan) McCullough, of Florida.

He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.

Barney retired from the Westinghouse Corporation in Lima after 30 years of service. He served in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
